Videmory Travel

Turn everyone’s trip photos and videos into one finished film.

After a group trip or a family holiday, the photos and videos are usually spread across everyone’s phones. Send the group one private link. Videmory collects the original files, puts them in the order they were taken and edits them into a film you can all keep.

Introductory launch offer: your first finished film is just AU$49, with additional versions only AU$15 each. Watch each film in full before you pay.

See what Videmory makes

The finished film follows the trip from the first day to the last, using photos and video from everyone who contributed.

The whole trip, in the right order

Not a shuffle set to music. The days in order, the places you were, the moments worth keeping, and the people who were there.

Days

Longer trips are organised day by day, in chronological order.

Places

Photos and videos are grouped around the places you visited.

The journey

The film moves from your arrival through to the final day.

Best moments

Repeated, blurry and unusable files are removed so the film keeps moving.

Everyone’s footage

The film draws from the whole group, not just the person who took the most photos.

Your film

You receive an MP4 file that you can download, keep and share.

Everyone’s camera roll. One finished film.

Before

The trip is sitting across several phones, cameras and GoPros. Everyone has a different part of it, and nobody wants the job of sorting through it all.

Three simple steps

Start the trip and share the link

Give the trip a name and Videmory creates a private upload link. Send it through your group chat, text or email.

Everyone uploads from their phone

Contributors open the link and choose the original photos and videos from their camera roll. There’s no app to install and they don’t need an account. You can collect up to 1,000 files from as many people as you like.

Choose your film and watch it

When everyone has finished uploading, choose the film length, aspect ratio and soundtrack, then start the build. You can watch each completed film before paying. If the soundtrack doesn’t suit the trip, you can try another.

Travel & holiday video guides

Before you make one

Eleven short guides on collecting from everyone, what a trip film costs, and which kind of tool suits the photographs you actually have.

Choose the film that suits your trip

You choose the length and aspect ratio before the film is built. Each combination you select is delivered as its own finished film.

Full length

Full-length film

A longer version containing everything that passes the quality check, arranged in trip order.

  • Designed for longer trips and larger uploads
  • Keeps more of the original photos and video
  • Organised from the first day to the last
Highlight

Highlight film

A shorter film featuring the strongest moments from the trip.

  • Up to six minutes
  • Edited and paced to music
  • Easy to watch and share

Most trips just make the full film, which keeps everything worth keeping. The highlight is the shorter alternative, and it only appears once a trip has enough in it for the two to come out genuinely different — more than about six minutes of material. You also choose the aspect ratio, the format that best suits where you want to watch or share the film. If you would like it delivered in another aspect ratio as well, you can add that as another version: your first film is AU$49, and each additional film delivered, whether it has a different length or aspect ratio, is AU$15. You can watch every version in full before you pay.

Your trip stays private

Shared only by your link

There is no public gallery or social feed. Only people with the trip link can open the contribution page.

No contributor accounts

Friends and family can upload without creating an account or remembering another password.

You stay in control

The organiser controls when uploads close, when the film is built and who receives the finished file. You can also delete the trip and its uploaded files.

Introductory launch offer

One trip. As many cuts of it as you want.

No subscription, nothing that renews, and nothing to pay until you have watched the film you are paying for.

AU$49 your first finished film

AU$15 for each additional version — another length, another format, or both. Every version comes from the photos and videos already uploaded: the same trip, cut a different way.

Introductory pricing is available for a limited time and may increase in the future.

Every film includes

  • Photos and videos from everyone who contributed
  • Up to 1,000 uploaded files
  • A complete preview before payment
  • A choice of soundtracks
  • A full-quality MP4 to download and keep

Payment runs through Stripe. Videmory never sees or stores your card details.

Travel video questions

The things people ask first

Is Videmory a travel video maker, or a video editing service?

A maker, and the distinction matters. There is no editor assigned to your trip and nobody watches your footage: it is software that collects everyone's files and builds the film. That is why it costs what it costs, and why you can watch the whole thing before you decide to pay for it. What an editing service involves, and what it costs.

Can it make one film from several people's phones?

That is the case it was built for. One private link gathers everyone's original photos and video, and the film is made from all of it rather than from whoever happened to take the most pictures. More on group trips.

Do contributors need an app or an account?

No. They open the private link, enter a display name and upload from their own camera roll. There is no app to install and no contributor account or password.

Is this an AI travel video maker?

No. There is no AI in the part of Videmory that makes your film, and nothing about your trip is sent to a model. It reads the date and time your camera already wrote into each file, works out the order, paces the photographs, trims the clips and cuts to the beat of the track you chose — all to rules that were written and tested. Every frame is something you photographed or filmed. How the automatic edit works.

Is it a travel slideshow or a photo montage maker?

People find it by searching for one, and it does that job. But a slideshow or montage is stills in a row: this plays your real video too, follows the trip in the order it happened, and arrives as a finished film rather than a timeline for you to work on. Five ways to make a travel video, and who each suits.

What if we did not keep a travel journal or track the route?

Nothing had to be done during the trip. The film is reconstructed afterwards from the dates already inside your photographs, so there is no journal to have kept up and no route to have logged. Videmory does not draw a map; what it does instead is put the days in order. More on trip recaps.

Can I get a vertical version for my phone, as well as a wide one?

Yes. You choose the aspect ratio before each film is built, so the same holiday can be a wide film for a television and a vertical one to share. Under the introductory launch offer your first finished film is AU$49 and each additional version is AU$15.

Holiday, trip or vacation — does it matter what I call it?

Not in the least. Videmory is made in Adelaide and priced in Australian dollars, and it works the same way whether it was a fortnight in Europe, a road trip, a cruise or a long weekend.
