Videmory collects photos and videos for one project and edits them into a chronological travel film.
The organiser receives a private link, join code and PIN. The organiser is responsible for sharing the link carefully and deciding when the collection is ready to be built.
Videmory shows you the complete film before payment. The preview contains the real edit and soundtrack but is shown at a lower resolution with a watermark.
Under the introductory launch offer your first finished film costs AU$49. Each additional version from the same project costs AU$15, and is built from that project’s existing media rather than from anything new. Introductory pricing is available for a limited time and may increase in the future; the amount shown before checkout is the amount payable.
A version is one combination of film length and aspect ratio. Available combinations may include Full-length or Highlight in 16:9 landscape or 9:16 vertical.
A project makes its Full-length Film unless the Highlight Film is chosen. The Highlight is offered only where there is enough usable material for the two to differ; below that they would render identically, and only one is sold.
Prices are shown in Australian dollars. The complete amount payable is shown before checkout.
Videmory is not registered for GST. No GST is charged, none is included in the prices above, and invoices are issued without a GST component. If that changes, the prices shown on this site change with it and this paragraph will say so.
Payment unlocks a full-quality MP4 without a watermark. The file can be downloaded and kept on your own device.
Purchased films remain available from My Projects during the hosting period. Films are normally hosted for 30 days from the latest purchase made for that project, which is time to download them rather than a promise to store them indefinitely. You should download and back up your own copy.
You must have the right to upload the photos and videos you add and the permission required from people shown or heard in them.
You are also responsible for ensuring that people you invite understand what the project is for and only upload material they are entitled to share.
Content that must not be uploaded is listed in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Videmory does not guarantee that every uploaded file will appear in a film.
Files may be left out if they cannot be opened, are clearly unusable or are near-duplicates. The Highlight Film also selects from the usable material to remain within six minutes. The Full-length Film includes the usable material that passes the relevant checks.
Automated editing cannot understand every personal preference. The preview gives you the opportunity to decide whether to buy the result.
Build time depends on the amount and type of media uploaded. Videmory does not guarantee a fixed delivery time unless one is stated during the order.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical faults or problems with a service provider. We will take reasonable steps to restore it.
Payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Videmory.
Once payment is confirmed, the purchased film is unlocked. Closing the browser does not cancel a completed purchase, and the film remains accessible from My Projects.
Additional versions cost AU$15 each and can be purchased while the uploaded source media remains available.
Trying another soundtrack before purchase does not create an additional paid version.
Once a film has been bought, the project’s uploaded media is final: nothing further can be added, removed or re-trimmed. Building another version stays open, and it is built from that same settled material.
If you choose Delete Uploaded Memories, existing purchased films remain available until expiry, but no new versions can be created.
You retain ownership of the photos and videos you upload.
You give Videmory permission to store, copy, analyse, edit, encode and deliver those files only as needed to provide the service, support the project, investigate reports and meet legal obligations. This permission ends when the relevant files are deleted, except where limited records must legally be retained.
Videmory does not gain the right to publish your film or use it for advertising.
The music is licensed as part of the completed film. It must not be extracted and redistributed separately, and the required music credit must remain with the film.
Videmory’s software, branding and original design remain the property of Videmory and its licensors.
Delete Uploaded Memories removes the uploaded source files and working media but keeps purchased films, previews, sharing and downloads until expiry. No further versions can be built.
Delete Entire Project removes the project, uploads, contributor information, previews, finished films and links. Download anything you want to keep first.
Videmory may suspend or remove a project that breaks these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law.
If a paid service is removed for reasons not caused by you or your contributors, any refund or other remedy will be handled in line with Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
If the service does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, your rights may include having the service supplied again, receiving a refund or another remedy depending on the problem.
