The usual options, and what each leaves you

A wedding film from the guests, not a feed of their photos.

A QR photo gallery

A shared feed the whole room can scroll, likes and all, and a zip at the end.

What is left to you: Nobody edits it, and the whole room sees the unflattering ones.

A disposable-camera app

Guests shoot through an app, and the photos reveal after the day.

What is left to you: An app for the guests, a cap on shots, and still no film.

Guests film it, somebody edits it

A real film from phone footage, once named guests take on roles for the day.

What is left to you: Landscape only, weeks to deliver, and hundreds to thousands of dollars up front.

Videmory Wedding is a card on each table and no app, each guest seeing only their own uploads, the day in sections, a Full film and a Highlight in landscape or portrait, and the whole film to watch before you pay. Made in Adelaide.

The other half of the day

Your photographer saw the two of you. Your guests saw everything else.

Your best friend’s face during the vows. The aunties at table six. The first five minutes on the dance floor, from twelve different angles. It is all on their phones, and most of it never gets sent.

Guest photo apps collect it into a gallery, and then it is yours to scroll. Videmory collects it, puts the day in order and edits it into a film — the guest’s-eye wedding film to sit beside the professional one.

How it works

Three steps, and the middle one is your wedding.

01

Create your wedding

Your names, the date and the venue. You get a private link and a printable card for the tables with the QR code on it.

02

Guests add theirs

They scan, type their name and add photos and clips. No app, no account — on the day, or from home afterwards.

03

Review and watch

Videmory puts the day in order. You look through the collection, leave out anything you like, and watch the finished film before you pay.

Two ways to watch your day

A film to keep, and one to share.

Full

The keepsake

The longer film of the day as your guests saw it, from getting ready to the last dance, in order. Long clips are trimmed to fit, so not every recording plays from start to finish.

Highlight

The one you send

A shorter film to revisit and share, made from the same photos and videos. Landscape for the television, or portrait for phones.

The moments you missed

Getting ready, the tables, the dance floor.

The bridal party in the hotel room. Your friends watching you walk in. The speech from your best mate, and the faces of the people listening to it. The dance floor once the shoes came off.

The day comes in sections you can rename and reorder, and the film plays them in order. A guest can choose a part of the day for their photos; your choice always wins, and you can leave out anything.

These are examples of what guests often capture, not a promise of what yours will have filmed.

Already married?

It is not too late to gather them.

Still have wedding photos and clips spread across everyone’s phones? Send the people who were there one link and bring them together now — months or years after the day.

On the day

Let your guests enjoy it. A little planning does the rest.

01

A card on every table

And one line from the MC: “Scan the card and add your photos.” That is usually enough.

02

Three or four willing filmers

Ask a few guests to take short, steady clips as well as photos. Nobody needs to film all day.

03

Record the speeches on purpose

If a speech matters, ask one person close to the speaker to film it in one go. Sound is the hardest thing to fix afterwards.

Questions

Wedding films, answered.

What is Videmory Wedding?

A wedding film made from the photos and videos your guests took, and your own. Guests add theirs through a private link or a QR code on the tables, Videmory puts the day in order, and you get a longer Full film and a shorter Highlight. Videmory Wedding is coming soon.

Do guests need an app or an account?

No. They scan the QR code or open the link, type their name and add photos and clips from their phone. Nothing to install and no account. A guest sees only what they added; the two of you see everything.

How does the wedding QR code work?

You get a card for the tables with the QR code, your names, the date and a short code to type for anyone whose camera will not scan. It opens your wedding's private upload page. There is no public gallery, and your film is never published or used to advertise anything.

Can we use photos and videos already on our phones?

Yes, and from before or after the day too. The two of you add yours the same way the guests do.

We are already married. Is it too late?

Not at all. Send the link to the people who were there and let them add what is still on their phones. Months or years later works just as well.

What is the difference between Full and Highlight?

The Full film is the longer keepsake of the day as your guests saw it, in order. The Highlight is a shorter film to revisit and share. Both come from the same photos and videos, landscape for the television or portrait for phones. Full does not mean every recording plays from start to finish: long clips are trimmed to fit the film.

What happens to the vows and the speeches?

They go in, in their place in the day, with their own sound. Long recordings are trimmed like any other clip, so a whole speech may not play from start to finish. If a speech matters to you, ask one guest to record it on purpose, close enough to hear it, and film it in one go.

Can we use Videmory alongside a photographer or videographer?

Yes, and that is how most couples will use it. Your photographer gets the portraits and the ceremony; your guests have the getting ready, the tables, the dance floor and the moments you were not there for. Videmory is not a videographer and does not film the day.

Can we organise it into parts of the day?

Yes. The day comes with sections — getting ready, ceremony, reception and so on — that you can rename, reorder or add to. Guests can pick a part of the day for their photos, and your choice always wins. You can leave out anything you would rather was not in the film.

What if the venue has poor reception?

Guests can add their photos and videos later from home: the link keeps working after the day. Nothing uploads by itself, so a gentle reminder the next week helps.

How much does it cost?

Wedding package details are coming soon. You will be able to watch your film before you decide to pay for it. Ask below and we will tell you as soon as they are set.

When can we use it?
