What must not be uploaded

Videmory is for personal travel photos and videos. Only upload material you have the right and permission to use.

Do not upload

  • Photos, videos or audio you do not have permission to share
  • Copyrighted material taken from a website, film, stock library or another creator without the necessary licence
  • Sexual or exploitative material involving a child
  • Intimate material shared without the person’s consent
  • Material that is unlawful or intended to harass, threaten, defame or stalk someone
  • Material that promotes hatred or violence against people because of a protected characteristic
  • Malware, deliberately harmful files or attempts to gain access to another person’s project or the service itself

How projects are checked

Videmory does not routinely watch or review private projects. Automated technical checks look for problems such as unreadable files, poor-quality media and repeated shots. They are not a substitute for content moderation.

We investigate reports made through the contact form.

What may happen after a report

Depending on the situation, Videmory may:

  • Remove a file
  • Suspend the project and disable its links
  • Delete the project
  • Restrict access to the service
  • Rebuild or withdraw a paid film and provide an appropriate remedy to the customer
  • Report unlawful material to the appropriate authorities

Sexual or exploitative material involving children will be removed from access and reported to the appropriate authorities.

Reporting a problem

Use the contact form and include the join code if you have it. You do not need to be the organiser or have an account.

Do not attach or resend harmful or unlawful material. Describe it clearly enough for us to locate it.
