The ring gets photographed a hundred times. The toast from her father gets filmed once, badly, from the back. This is how to make sure the night comes home as a film and not a folder.
The night both families meet
Half the room has never met the other half. The toasts, the story of how it happened, the moment the two sets of parents are photographed together for the first time: these are the clips people will want in a year, at the wedding, and in twenty years. They are on phones that belong to cousins and friends, and they will never be sent unless somebody asks.
One card on each table
Print the QR code on a card and put one on every table, with a line that says what it is for: “Film what you see tonight and scan here to add it.” Ask whoever gives the first toast to point at the cards. Guests scan, type their name and add from their camera roll, with no app and no account, on the night or in the week after.
What to ask people to film
The toasts, from start to finish, by whoever is closest. The arrival of each family. The first dance if there is one, and the cake if there is one. Everything else is a bonus. Two or three guests who agree to film short, steady clips of the big moments will give you a better film than a room full of people filming the ceiling.
What you get back
A Full Party Film of the night in the order it happened, with the toasts in their real sound, and a Highlight to send to everyone who was there and everyone who could not be. You watch the film before you pay anything, and you can change what is in it and watch it again.
And then the wedding
The same idea works on the day itself: a card on each table, the guests’ photos and video, and a film of the day beside the professional one. Videmory Wedding is coming too.
Your questions, answered
Do guests need an app?
No. They scan the code on the table or open the link, type their name and add photos and clips from their own phone. Nothing to install and no account to make.
Can the two families add photos from home afterwards?
Yes. The link keeps working after the night, so a relative who was there can add the photos they took, and the ones they find later.
Will the toasts have their real sound?
Yes. The toasts and the speeches play as they were recorded. Ask whoever is nearest the speaker to film them.
What does it cost, and when can I use it?
Videmory Party is coming soon. The price has not been set. Send an enquiry with your date and a person will write back to you.
