Party guide

The 21st, filmed by everyone who was there.

A 21st is the party people film the most and watch back the least. By midnight the night is in forty camera rolls, and it stays there. One QR code on the tables brings it all to one place, and Videmory turns it into a film of the night, in order, with the speech and the singing as they sounded.

The embarrassing photos get their slideshow. The speeches get their moment. Then the night happens, and the only record of it is spread across every phone in the room. This is how to get it back as one film.

What a 21st gives you that other parties do not

Two or three speeches, and at least one of them is worth keeping. A cake, a toast, and a room that sings. A dance floor from about ten o’clock. Friends from school, from work and from the family who have never been in the same room before, and will not be again for years. All of it is filmed, by different people, from different sides of the room.

Put the code where people sit, not where they arrive

Print the QR code on a small card for each table, and one near the bar. People scan it when they are sitting down and have a moment, not in the queue at the door. Ask whoever is on the microphone to mention it once, before the speeches: “Scan the card on your table and add whatever you film tonight.” That one line does more than any sign.

Guests add theirs with no app

They scan the code, type their name and add photos and clips from their camera roll. There is nothing to install and no account to make, so the friend who never downloads anything still adds the clip of the speech. They can keep adding the next day and the next week, when the person who filmed the cake finally looks at their phone.

Ask two people to film the speeches

Sound is the hardest thing to fix afterwards. Whoever is nearest the speaker should film the speech, steadily, from start to finish, and a second person on the other side of the room is insurance. The rest of the night takes care of itself: short, steady clips of the big moments from a few willing guests beat everyone filming everything.

What you get back

A Full Party Film, from the arrivals to the last song, in the order the night happened, with the speeches, the toasts and the singing playing with their own sound. And a Highlight, the short one for the group chat, cut from the same night and kept in the same order; you choose its length. You watch both before you pay anything, and if the cake needs to come out or the speech needs to stay in, you change it and watch it again.

The photos nobody can explain

Every 21st has them. They stay in. The night is put in order by when each photo and clip was taken, so the one from 1:40 a.m. lands where it belongs, after the dance floor and before the taxis.

Your questions, answered

Do the guests need an app or an account?

No. They scan the code or open the link, type their name and add photos and clips from their own phone. Nothing to install, no account, and it works on an iPhone or an Android phone alike.

Can guests add photos after the night?

Yes. The link keeps working after the party, so people can add the photos they find later. You decide when the film is made.

Will the speeches have their real sound?

Yes. Speeches, toasts and singing play with the sound that was recorded. Whoever is nearest the speaker should film the speech, so that recording is the clear one.

How long is the film?

The Full Party Film follows the whole night. The Highlight is the short version for sharing, and you choose how long it runs.

What does it cost, and when can I use it?
